I am sure that I see the world differently. In fact I am certain I see it differently each day. As an artist I feel each person, every street corner and every life experience with my entire imagination. Although this sometimes feels overwhelming, as my mind adds six dimensions of life: sight, touch, smell, taste, hate, love, and pain: I am sure that this is my gift, my life and my responsibility.
My paintings, on fabric, paper, canvas and whatever else are necessary for description, are depictions of life, honest, real life. They are as tactile as I can visually accomplish. If nothing else, I wish my viewers a new sensation, a new sense of feeling, and even better a new relationship with their subject.
I have been an artist my entire life. My world is sensory overload. My hope and job as an artist is to capture the spirit and joy of your loved ones.
